Bro. Josh and Sis. Kim are the proud parents of three special little boys, Barrett, Benjamin, and Bowden. The Simpson's come to us from Alabama where Bro. Josh served as a Youth Pastor for 9 years. The move marked a return to Florida as Bro. Josh and Sis. Kim both grew up in and around the Plant City area. They first came to FTMBC after getting married in 2010 and Bro. Josh served here as Youth Pastor for a couple years before following God's call to Alabama.

Saved at the age of 6, Bro. Josh has been pastoring or serving in some form of ministry 21 years. He went to Emmaus Baptist College in Brandon, FL for his two-year degree in Pastoral Arts, and then to Luther Rice College and Seminary (Lithonia, GA) for his Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion/Ministry. Continuing his education at LRCS he later received two degrees: Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Apologetics. 

Bro. Josh's passion is to see people come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and then enter into an authentic relationship with Jesus where they make Him their Lord. For Bro. Josh, conversations are the catalyst for life change. Taking the time to get to know someone and find common ground opens the door for Christ to be shared and ministry to take place. With that, he also firmly believes that the local church is the vessel God has chosen to reach the world with the Gospel. That means that, as the Pastor of FTMBC, Bro. Josh leads our church to serve intentionally and with purpose to inspire new believers, instruct disciples, invest in missions, and influence our community.
